BSP Hosts National Conference on GMO Policy Review
The Biotechnology Society of Pakistan, in collaboration with Federal Minister Dr. Musadik Malik, is hosting a national conference to review GMO soybean import policies. Led by Prof. Kosar Abdullah Malik, the event aims to address biosafety concerns, including gene escape risks, and develop a science-based policy framework within 90 days to enhance agricultural sustainability and food security.
